Sorry for the lack of posts, this month I didn't really feel like posting. And after half a month I still don't feel like to, so I'm going on a hiatus till I found my inpiration back. I'm thinking about changing my style a bit, but I'm not sure how long that is going to take. So I decided to go on hiatus (for unknown time xD)
Bunnies
Lately I found some pictures of a photoshoot with bunnyheads, made by the brand Beth. A sister-brand of Victorian Maiden, but nowadays Beth doesn't excists anymore. I think the bunny heads look very cute.

This blog shows how you can make a bunny head yourself, but it's not quite easy. Perhaps I'm going to try this, but I doubt if it will work.
Beware of another bunny post soon!
It's Autumn!
Summer has ended and the trees are losing their leaves, a sign that it's getting colder. When I think of Autumn, I think about the trees in the forest, brown, layers, (fake) fur, forest animals, boots... that almost sounds like morigirl. But I also think about one of my favourite styles: country lolita. Some people will say: 'county lolita is only for Spring and Summer!' I think it's possible to wear it in Autumn too.
I found two examples of country coordinates that you can wear in Autumn/Winter.
Those pictures were found at: http://smoldering-rose.blogspot.com/
She wrote a greap post about country in Autumn and Winter, so I'm not going to repeat it: http://smoldering-rose.blogspot.com/2010/01/keeping-it-country-in-winter-time.html
I also found some pictures at Daily_lolita that has an Autumn feeling in it. I hope these outfits will inpsire you to create your own Autumn outfit.

Thanks for reading! It has been a bit quiet at my blog lately, but school has started and I'm quite busy with it. I'll try to post more often.
One skirt, five ways
This week I got a new skirt, an apple skirt from Metamorphose in pink.
I made some coordinations for fun, to see how I can wear the skirt.
Country girl
A full country lolita outfit. The outfit is similar to my country outfit for the fashion show, but this one has a different skirt.
Fifties inpired
For this outfit, I'm going for a retro/fifties inspired look. I paired it with a white blouse, simple white sandals, a cute headbow and a brown bag.
Casual
A casual outfit with a red cutsew, a white cardigan and some white overkneesocks. As accerssoires I added a pearl necklace and pearl bracelets.
Towned down country
Another country look. This time it's more towned down by taking away some colour, not so much red this time. A good outfit for warmer weather.
Green!
I wanted to use other colours than red and white and as I have no pink in my closet, I tried it with green and brown. I'm not sure if I like the result, perhaps some green tights and brown shoes would work better with this outfit. Opinions?
Visiting Delft
This weekend I visited Delft, a really nice city in the Netherlands with lots of lovely old buildings. I didn't make a lot of photo's, but I want to show you a few. I didn't wear lolita, because it was too rainy, so I wore a pair of jeans with a t-shirt instead.
One of the many canals of the city.
A nice shop with Delft's blue ceramic tiles. Too expensive for me.
A famous church of Delft (De nieuwe kerk), you could also visit the inside.
The city hall, with many interesting details.
Some other nice housefronts.
At the end of the afternoon I went to IKEA to drink tea and eat apple pie.
It tasted good (exept the wiphed cream :P)
I can really recommend visiting Delft, especially if you love old buildings.
Hmm...flower cake
Yesterday I made a cake, decorated with flowers. It took me almost two hours to make it, but it was worth the time. I'll show some pictures of the baking process.
The cake before putting in the oven.
The cake is ready, so now it's time for decorating.
I cut the cake in two pieces and put jam at one side and wiphed cream at the other side.
Wait till the cake has cooled down, or the whiped cream will melt.
After putting the two sides togheter, I started decorating with fondant.
I wanted to make the whole cake white.
With marzipan I created flowers. And then the cake was ready to eat!
It tasted good, so I'm definitely going to make an other cake like this.
Guide to Sailor lolita ~ part 1
This is a guide about sailor lolita, a style not much seen in lolita. I decided to split sailor and pirate lolita into two different guides, because there is a lot to tell about both.
The first part is going about the elements of a sailor lolita outfit
(vampire_auriel from daily_lolita)
Colours
White, black, navy and other blues are the most common colours in sailor lolita. Usually white is combined with navy or black. Red is a colour less seen, but it can be used as an accent colour. A whole outfit in red and white is not impossible, but it's harder to pull of. Another colour less seen in sailor lolita is pink. If you want to wear pink with sailor lolita, you have to make sure you have enough sailor ellements in your outfit. I even found a black and yellow outfit, so a lot colours are possible.
Symbols and prints
Two rows of stripes at the bottom of a skirt or jsk are very common. These stripes are also often seen at the sleeves and at the collar. Again, they are not neccesairy, an outfit with out many stripes can still look good.
Other symbols seen in sailor lolita are anchors, shells, boats or a wheel. Just anything that reminds to sea and beach can be used.
Shape of skirts
The shape of the skirt is just like any other lolita outfit bell-shaped. Sailor lolita skirts tend to be more often pleated, but they can also be gathered.
Collars
A sailor collar is seen a lot in Japanese schooluniforms. Such a collar is not neccesairy, but it can make look a outfit more sailor. Usually sailor collars have a V-shape at the front and a square at the back, but sailor collars can also be round. That way it looks more mature.
This is part one of the guide, next part will be about Japanese school uniforms and some other history.
It all ends...
This week was the premiere of the last Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and the deadly hallows part 2. I read all books and watched all movies, so I had to see this one too ofcourse. I watched it Thursday and the movie was great! I liked it much better than part one. I hadn't the opportunity to wear something Harry Potter inspired. I wore black with some blue, so perhaps Ravenclaw inspired? I think I'm going to watch it a second time, but then I want to have a good outfit.
I looked at polyvore for some inspiration for Harry Potter outfits.
You can find lots of outfits there, also for daily wear.

A few of my favourites:
Lolita outfits
In the second edition of Pretty Cute magazine (not released yet) are also Harry Potter inspired lolita outfits, too bad I can't post them here. So I'll post a few outfits from polyvore/egl instead.

I didn't really find interesting lolita outfits, so I think I'm going to make some polyvore outfits in the next few days.
